GARVIN COUNTY, OK -- Troopers say a Pauls Valley man is recovering after losing control of his motorcycle and suffering from severe scrapes all over his body.

It happened around 10 p.m. Thursday night on County road 1600, just west of Highway 77.

According to OHP, Jack Eardman, 25, of Pauls Valley, laid his motorcycle over on its side and was bleeding with "road burn" injuries after being thrown more than 100 feet from the bike.

He was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, but did not need to be admitted.
