ATOKA COUNTY, OK -- An Atoka man is accused of running through the woods to get away from a deputy trying to arrest him on suspicion of drunk driving.

Dustin Jones, 22, faces charges of DWI second offense and escape from detention following a traffic stop near the Harmony Community Center around 2 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to court documents, Jones started running, crawled across a barbed wire fence, and disappeared into the woods near Harmony and Bentley Road after a deputy told him to go get his shoes because he was under arrest.

Jones was later booked in to the Atoka County Jail and posted $35,000 bond.
