DENISON, TX -- Dallas Baptist signees Garrett Fulenchek and Case Rolen are top prospects heading into next month's MLB draft.
The Sherman and Howe natives have been training hard together since last summer and challenge each other each day to get better.
Fulenchek is listed as the number 42 draft prospect while Rolen comes in at 298 on MLB.com.
The righty pitchers would visit with us in the KTEN studio and tell us what advice they'd give to any youngsters hoping to hear their name called on draft day.
"I'd probably just tell them to follow their dream. I mean, this has been my dream since I was four years old and stepping on the baseball field. I mean it's been my dream, I've followed through with it and now I'm luck enough to have the opportunity to play even farther," Fulenchek said.
"telling the little kids, just like he said, follow your dreams and just work hard, and just listen to your coaches they're there to help you, they're not there to tear you down or anything. I mean, they'll say a few words but it's just trying to make you better and just keep your eye on the prize pretty much," Rolen added.
