ARDMORE, OK -- A Carter County man accused of robbing and stabbing a store clerk has been found guilty.

A jury convicted 18-year old Deangelo Washington Monday afternoon.

District attorney Craig Ladd says the jury recommended a 6 year sentence.

Washington is one of three suspects police believe were involved in the stabbing and robbery of a clerk at the Rockford C-Mart  in November.

Washington is set to appear before a judge for formal sentencing at the end of June.
