SHERMAN, TX -- A Texoma business is doubling it's capacity and bringing jobs to the area.

SEDCO announced that GlobiTech's parent company is doubling it's investment at it's Sherman plant from 9.6 million dollars to 18 million.

The move comes after SEDCO doubled it's incentive package to $900,000.

GlobiTech was founded in Sherman in 1999 and specializes in coating semi-conductor wafers with silicon.

"Because we have the expertise here, the talent, we have this facility that was built for this process and only for this process.  That makes us very cost competitive and a good choice to add capacity," said CFO Terry Kluesner.

The expansion will add 20 new jobs to the current workforce.
