Silo Rebels trying to defend spring baseball title

SILO, OK --  No surprise the Rebs are back. The 2013 spring champion Silo Rebels have maintained the top ranking in the class the entire season. In fact they haven't lost a game in Oklahoma.

Their one and only loss came in Florida over spring break.
Silo is known as a powerhouse, where a three year span between titles is considered a drought.

They're the winningest program in the state over the last 13 years and the players know what it would feel like to cap off this season as champions once again.

"We've all had a lot of hard work and it's all coming through, just hopefully we can finish it off," senior designated hitter Hunter Jackson said.

"End the season. End a remarkable season, best one Silo's ever had," senior short stop Tanner Hearon added.

"You know, it would be, it would be amazing. It would be better the first time. I heard it gets better each and every time. So I just want to experience that," junior center fielder Drew Bolin said.

They'll play Latta at 4 p.m. Thursday in Shawnee.
