Local Group Restoring and Preserving Durant's History - Volunteers Needed

Drive around any town in Texoma and you see the rich history with homes and properties. But, with age and lack of money many of these old homes are starting to crumble. What started as one man's wish to help our local veterans has now turned into something so much more for our wounded warriors. On Good Morning Texoma, Lisanne sat down to chat with Alvin Hartwell who's with a non-profit group called Wounded Heroes Red River Alliance. Alvin spends time with these wounded warriors, taking them fishing, hunting, camping, just getting away to get back to themselves.
This Saturday, May 17, 2014, Wounded Heroes will host an event called Fishing For A Cause. It's a Bass Tournament to help raise money to continue helping these veterans and to help a local group training dogs for veterans.
