DENISON, TX -- We're learning new information about a bizarre incident in Denison last Sunday night.

Talma Baker, 51, of Denison, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

His car was sitting abandoned at the corner of Lillis Lane and Imperial while officers searched the neighborhood and found him hiding near a garage, police said.  There was a beer on the street sitting next to the car.

Police say witnesses saw Baker speeding before he hit a pole and then ran away.

It's Baker's second DWI. He was taken to the Grayson County Jail and later posted a $3,000 bond.
