CARTER COUNTY, OK -- A freak accident involving a pickup truck near Ratliff City killed a Stephens County man today.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. on property about a mile and a half west of town.

Troopers say Robert Dulworth, 69, of Duncan, died at the scene. They say he exited his pickup but did not get it completely in park.

It started to roll forward, and he tried to stop it. That's when they say Dulworth lost his balance and fell underneath the truck.

Dulworth's body was taken to the funeral home in Wilson.
