GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A crash in a backyard near Pottsboro sends two teens to the hospital tonight.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Pearce Drive, just north of the Pottsboro city line.

The resident says his 13-year-old son and a 15-year-old friend were outside playing by themselves, when they apparently collided with each other.

He says the other boy was up talking and joking, but they took him by helicopter to Parkland Hospital in Dallas as a precaution.

"It was a couple young men on dirt bikes. They apparently crashed into one another," says Pottsboro Officer Steven Northington.

"They were just riding and kind of coming towards one another and I think one turned the same way as the other one not realizing he was turning that way," says resident Eddie Morris.

The younger teenager was taken by ambulance to TMC.  Denison and Preston firefighters and Pottsboro police responded to the scene and Grayson County Sheriff's Office was also called.
