Boswell Scorpions heading to state tournament

BOSWELL, OK --  The Boswell Scorpions are making their first spring trip to the state tournament in program history.
They're adding to a huge school year which saw their first fall berth as well.

That gives them confidence heading in as the underdogs.

"It doesn't make us as nervous going into the game, so we know what they are and we'll go out there and see what we can do," senior third baseman Tracy Brown said.

"Go up there and don't be nervous and play like we've been playing. Go beat somebody," junior short stop Cameron Roberts added.

"They know it's going to be tough, but that's why they play these games because you just never know and we'll just go out there and give it our best shot," head coach Alan Cartwright concluded.

First pitch from Edmond memorial Thursday at 6:30 p.m. against Red Oak.
