Police in Ada are trying to figure out if a series of burglaries that happened last week are related.

Detective Destry Musgrove tells us the Ada Police Department is investigating three different burglaries that occurred in close proximity Thursday night.

"We're following up on leads and looking at possible associations, and seeing if they are connected," said Musgrove.

The Kiwanis Ball Park and the Chickasaw Child Development Center on Rosedale Road, and a construction site at Southridge Mall, were all burglarized. Each is now missing several lawn and hand tools.

"There was a construction trailer that was broken into--about 72 items were taken from that trailer," said Musgrove. "Power tools, hoses, welders, things of that nature."

That's just from the construction site. Musgrove says the ball park is missing a flatbed trailer and a zero-turn lawn mower. The Lighthorse Police Department is investigating the development center.

Investigators tell us they cannot confirm the crimes are related, but they are working on a few leads at this time including surveillance footage and the location of a few missing items.

"We found some property that was taken from the Southridge Shopping Mall, and we've been working with Oklahoma City and Spencer police departments in the recovery of that property.

Musgrove says he isn't releasing the surveillance video at this time, but that he does have at least one suspect identified. If you know any information regarding these crimes, you are urged to call Crimestoppers at 580-332-CATCH.
