SHERMAN, TX -- Texomans looking for a way to get in to the spirit of Earth Day will get their chance this coming Saturday.

An Earth Day festival is being held on the Sherman municipal grounds from 8:30 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon.

There will be live music, food, and recycling trucks to help you get rid of your unwanted clutter.

"And we are growing every year, this year we have a record number of vendors, and a really wide variety of vendors, we have more people approaching us wanting to participate," said Amy Hoffman-Shehan, organizer.

This is the 6th year for the event.  For more information you can go to their website www.earthdaytexoma.org
