BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- A Texoma man has been arrested for manslaughter after a car wreck that killed one person and hurt three others.

The  head-on collision happened just after 6pm Friday night near the Red River Bridge in Bryan County.

Troopers tell us 35 year-old Joshua Ray of Durant may have caused the crash that happened on highway 70 just west of Durant, however the accident is still under investigation.

"Of course the investigation is still a preliminary mode at this time, but we have two vehicles involved, with three occupants in one vehicle, one occupant in the other vehicle, and we have one confirmed fatality, said Trooper Steve Nabors, OHP.

Investigators believe the jeep, driven by Ray and carrying three people, crossed the center line. The woman was in the SUV that was hit was pronounced dead at the scene.  The others were sent to local hospitals.

As of right now troopers are waiting for next of kin to be notified before releasing the woman's name.
