LEBANON, OK -- Texomans have a chance to experience history first hand in southern Marshall County.

The 12th annual Antique Tractor Show is began Friday in Lebanon, hosted by the Marshall County Antique Iron club.

Event coordinators from Antique Iron say the show gives visitors a chance to learn how things were done back in the day, from bayling hay to blacksmithing.

A lineup of antique tractors makes up the main attraction for the show.

"The tractor show is all about preserving history and preserving the tractors and stuff from the past and how the food was raised," said Jay Pruitt, vice president of Marshall County Antique Iron. "And to educate our kids to what it was back in the 40s and 50s."

Pruitt says Saturday's schedule of events includes a tractor parade and tractor pull.

The show starts up again Saturday morning at 8 AM and goes on until 3 in the afternoon.
