GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A major fundraiser for the Denison Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with a new kind of country club in the area.

The Choctaw Preserve is located in east Denison and features a new kind of country club based hunting and shooting experience.

Today the facility held a skeet shooting competition to help the chamber raise money for their education programs.

It's the seventh year for the competition and they hope to raise around $15,000.

"We have so many students in Denison that need assistance, so this will help with our kits for kids programs where we buy even clothing and personal supplies for these students, and then also we'll use it for some of our recognition programs, for educators, as well as our youth leadership programs," said Anna McKinney, Chamber President.

A record 23 teams participated in the competition.  Among the prizes handed out were a Beretta handgun and a Benelli shotgun.
