ATOKA COUNTY -- OHP troopers are on the scene of a bus accident in Atoka County.

OHP says troopers were dispatched to Coal Creek Road at about 4:30 Wednesday afternoon.

Photos sent to us from viewers shows an Atoka Public School bus that appears to have hit a tree head-on.

The OHP says there were 16 students on the bus. All the students were younger than 13-years-old. Injuries reporter included headaches and sore ribs.

The bus driver was ticketed for failing to negotiate a curve.
