ARDMORE, OK -- Ardmore police arrested a man Monday after they say he stole another man's truck at knife point.     

Police say it happened about six o'clock Monday morning when the owner went to start his truck and warm it up in the 400 block of Locust street in Ardmore.     

Officers say they arrested 33-year old Kenneth Welch after a short chase.     

Police say officers spotted the truck a short time after it was reported stolen.     

Welch tried to run away but they caught him.     

The owner of the truck was not hurt.
