BRYAN COUNTY -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a suspicious death in Bryan County.

According to a news release by the OSBI, "Just after 4 p.m. Monday, a 9-1-1 dispatcher received a call about a body found near Canella Creek about three miles east of Durant near old Highway 70. Sheriff deputies responded to the area and found an unidentified deceased male. The sheriff's office requested OSBI assistance in this suspicious death investigation. OSBI agents arrived on scene and processed the area where the body was located. The body was then transported to the medical examiner's office in Oklahoma City for an autopsy. OSBI is working with the medical examiner's office to identify the man.
