POTTSBORO, TX -- A two-vehicle crash sends a Denison motorcyclist to the hospital tonight.

Police say the 54-year-old was flown to Plano by medical helicopter with serious injuries following the crash around 8 p.m. with a pickup truck right in the middle of the intersection at the corner known as Fink.

The victim was identified Friday as Kim Rodgers, who was last reported to police as being in critical condition.

"The female driver of the truck, southbound on Highway 289 attempted to make a turn eastbound on F.M. 406," says Police Chief Shone Nix. "The motorcycle was northbound on 289, and she collided with the motorcycle and stated she never saw the motorcycle."

The pickup truck driver, Tina Fisher, 57, of Bonham, was okay. The intersection was closed off while police and DPS investigated the crash.
