KTEN is proud to support our military, our veterans, our men and women who sacrifice so much for our country. This morning on Good Morning Texoma, Lisanne sat down with Alvin Hartwell who started a group called Wounded Heroes - Texas, Inc. It's a non profit organization with a mission to honor, empower, and to express our gratitude to our wounded soldiers and their families.

The purpose of this group is to raise public awareness and to enlist the public's aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured servicemen and women provide aid and assistance to each other, and to provide unique direct programs and services to meet their needs.

Wounded Hero's of Texas- Red River Alliance is looking for donations and assistance in doing this.

They're hosting a Bluegrass Family Night Featuring Upper Grassman Band at the Fannin County Civic Center (Old Armory) Saturday March 15, 2014 from 7pm - 1-pm. Admission is $20 per couple, $15 for singles $2 for 12 years and under.

Concession available, Silent Auction, T-Shirt Sales.

RSVP to Alvin Hartwell and save $5 on your admission at the door. 903-227-3342
