DENISON, TX -- A Collin County man is arrested after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase through both Denison and Sherman on Friday.

Danny Garrard, 35, of McKinney, allegedly took off from an attempted traffic stop on Highway 75 near Lamberth. Deputies say the chase went all the way to Texoma Parkway, with the car often reaching speeds of 100 miles an hour.

The chase ended near Bullock Street and Woodlawn in Denison. Deputies say they discovered marijuana in the car. Garrard was booked in on charges of marijuana possession and evading arrest, and his bond for those charges is set at $17,500.
