GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A man is dead after a rollover crash near Southmayd.

It happened around 4 p.m. on Friday on Highway 56 about a half-mile west of town. Troopers say Clyde Williams, 56, of Greenville, Tex., was headed west at a high rate of speed.

According to DPS, Williams drifted into the wrong lane, when he swerved back and lost control.

The vehicle went into a bar ditch, ran through a fence and rolled several times, before coming to rest on its top in a field. Williams died at the scene.
