RINGLING, OK -- Back in December the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activity Association would rule Ringling wide receiver Ryan Lester ineligible.
The Blue Devils would have to play their Class A championship game without him, ultimately falling to Hollis.
Lester is a three sport athlete and because of the eligibility issue would not be able to play basketball nor baseball, until today.
According to Ringling head coach Tracy Gandy the OSSAA board has overturned the decision and will allow Lester to play baseball.
He says they filed a hardship back in January and his appeal has been granted.
The whole debacle started back in December when an anonymous letter was sent before the Class A semi-finals prompting an OSSAA investigation.
