GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- The level of Lake Texoma continues to fall ever so slightly.

Over the past week, the lake is down several inches to 608.77 feet.

According to the Army Corps of Engineers, if the water drops to 607 feet, the lake will enter "Drought Level 3," which would require further conservation measures and restrictions on hydropower.

The Lake Texoma Association has asked lawmakers to revise a 1987 federal law and stop hydropower when the lake drops this low.
