DURANT, OK--- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into a dead body that was found on the campus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant. A spokesperson for the college said the body was found on the south perimeter of the campus by the tennis courts around 8 a.m.

According to the public information officer at SOSU, Alan Burton, the investigation is in the early stages.

Burton said the identity of the person has not been released as of yet, but the person did not attend the university. We also don't know a cause of death.

UPDATE 1/29/14, 2:00 p.m.: A spokeswoman for OSBI, Jessica Brown, said after investigating, agents concluded that there were no obvious signs of foul play in the man's death. She said since that's the case, the investigation is being turned back over to SOSU police. SOSU police have still not released the name of the deceased man and are continuing to look into his cause of death.
