SHERMAN, TX -- A Sherman man pleads not guilty after police say he improperly touched a girl under the age of 10.

Andres Mendoza-Gutierrez, 28, is charged with aggravated sexual assault and continuous child sexual abuse.

The incidents allegedly occurred between last January and October. Records show he's been held in the Grayson County Jail since October in lieu of $55,000 bond. His plea was entered on Thursday and his next court date is on Feb. 13.
