ARDMORE, OK -- Police are searching for a teenage suspect who they say is involved in two shootings in the city, and who they say is considered armed and dangerous.

Tonight officers say they located the suspect, Henry Jackson, 19, when he opened fire on federal agents who were trying to apprehend him.

Ardmore police spokesman Ryan Hunnicutt released the following statement:

"Today officers developed information that Henry Jackson was suspect in at least two Ardmore area shootings.  While searching for Henry Jackson officers developed information that he was still armed and possibly in a silver Ford Taurus.  Ardmore Detectives assisted by Federal Agents located the suspect vehicle in a NE Ardmore neighborhood at about 6:30 p.m.  The suspect, presumably Henry Jackson, opened fire on the officers wounding both Federal Agents.  One was transported to the ER and the other was treated at the scene.  The Federal Agent is in good condition at the time of this press release.  Any further information on the Federal Agent will have to come from their PIO.  I have no further comments on the Federal Agent.  No Ardmore Officers were injured.  The suspect fled the scene in the above listed suspect vehicle.  Henry Jackson is considered armed and VERY DANGEROUS.  Anyone who locates Jackson is urged to call APD and not to approach.  Ardmore Police Chief Ken Grace has activated an emergency call back of all staff and is coordinating a city wide manhunt for Jackson.  We are also working closely with several local agencies in an attempt to locate and arrest Jackson.
