GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- Family and friends are grieving following a fatal accident near Pottsboro.

Troopers say Chanel Bolen, 25, of Pottsboro, died on Friday morning at Texoma Medical Center after her pickup truck hydroplaned on Highway 289 at Wright Road, and slammed into an SUV.

Cassie Stearns, 30, of Sherman was driving the SUV, and she and an 18-month-old baby were also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to DPS.

Friends say Bolen was working as a dental assistant in Gainesville and was planning to become a teacher. Funeral arrangements have not yet been set.
