SHERMAN, TX -- Work will begin this week to move an exit ramp in Sherman, and a road from Howe to Tom Bean will also be repaired in the new year.

Workers will start putting up construction signs on Thursday on Highway 75 where they will be moving the exit ramp onto F.M. 1417, according to a Texas Department of Transportation statement.

They are set to start construction on the estimated $700,000 project on Monday and TxDOT says the work will take about two months.

Also, another $5.8 million project will be going on further south at F.M. 902. There, crews will be upgrading the road between Howe and Tom Bean until May, and plan to put in new ditches and pipes.
