Moyers superintendent exempts students from standardized test after tragedy

MOYERS, OK -- The same standardized test that gave thousands of Oklahoma students problems earlier this week is now giving one Texoma community even more stress. this time, though, it has nothing to do with technical glitches. "I was shocked," Moyers resident Linda Kellett said. People in Moyers are still trying to figure it out. "That's ridiculous. It makes no sense," parent Beth Leinau said. UPDATE -- Denison police have identified the man who died in a motorcycle accident Tuesday night as Chad Clark, 37, of Denison.

Lt. Mike Eppler says the cause of the wreck has not been determined and that it is still under investigation.

DENISON, TX -- One person is dead after a motorcycle accident in Denison.

A man on a motorcycle was killed just before 7 o'clock Monday evening after his bike hit a truck on Morton Street.

First responders tell us witnesses saw the rider headed west on Morton Street weaving in and out of traffic just before he hit a truck pulling out of the Circle K parking lot.

Several people from the gas station and cars nearby rushed to try to help the biker before EMS arrived.

"We got a report of an accident involving a motor vehicle and a motorcycle, which when the crews arrived they found a motorcycle driver still by his bike next to the truck, he had obvious injuries that were incompatible with life," said Denison Assistant Fire Chief Bill Ray.

As of right now they are still trying to determine the identity of the biker and what factors may have contributed to the crash. They also tell us he was not wearing a helmet.
