Two Men Arrested for Counterfeit Operation


ARDMORE, OK -- Two Armoire men have been arrested accused of manufacturing counterfeit money.

Mathew Perry and Steven Parker were arrested on Thursday.  Armoire police say Perry tried to use a fake $20 dollar bill at a restaurant on the 1200 block of North Commerce Street.  

During the investigation Perry was found to be in possession of counterfeit bills, a printer, ink, a firearm and marijuana.

He was arrested and booked into the Carter County Jail.      

Acting on a tip, investigators arrested Parker at a residence at the 3800 block of North Commerce street that police say was being used as a counterfeit bill manufacturing facility.   

Matthew perry is charged with 3 counts of second degree forgery for making counterfeit money.         

Steven parker was charged with second degree forgery.
