Ada Woman Found Injured After Crash

PONTOTOC COUNTY, OK -- Troopers say an Ada woman was found injured after an accident when she was apparently distracted by the driver.

It happened at 6 a.m. on Highway 3, about one-half mile south of city limits. Troopers say the vehicle had struck an embankment, and the driver was not there.

Passenger Rhonda Tiger, 49, was taken to Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in stable condition, a preliminary Oklahoma Highway Patrol report stated. The cause of the collision was revised to be due to distraction from the driver.
