ARDMORE, OKLAHOMA -- The Ardmore Salvation Army says it needs some help from the community as it makes its final push before delivery for the holidays.

Major Jeff Daniel says that the organization needs everything--from monetary donations, to canned goods and non perishable food items, and angel tree gifts to be donated.

Daniel says that the Salvation Army has less than 20 percent of gifts that have been asked for.

He says the cold weather and winter storm has slowed down the gift raising.

"I don't care how much it snows after Christmas, that's fine, just not before because it makes it more difficult for us and the big thing is it makes it hazardous and treacherous for people to get out," said Daniel.
