The Sherman Police Department is requesting help from the public in identifying a retail theft suspect.

On Thursday November 14 2013, a female described as being approx. 5`5"-5`6" tall, 200-210 pound, brown hair, mid 30 to 40 years of age, wearing a red jacket with a red and blue collared shirt and jeans entered Dennards Western Wear store located in the Sherman Town center with two children.

On the surveillance video, the suspect can be seen concealing a Resistol brand cowboy hat valued at over $430.00. The two children believed to be ages 9 and 15 acted as "look outs" for the suspect, letting her know when the employees were not paying attention to her.  Once the hat was concealed, the female and the two children exit the store.

If you recognize this person please contact Det. Miller with the Sherman Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at 903.892.7346 or Sherman Dispatch at 903.892.7290.
