    Madill plant employee charged with embezzlement

    MADILL -- An employee for a steel plant in Madill is now charged with embezzling from the company. The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says Lori Allen, 44, was arrested Wednesday afternoon. She accused of embezzling about $40,000 from Oklahoma Steel and Wire. Allen has since been released from jail. Her next court date has not been set. TAPS Public Transit to Cancel Some Service on Thursday and Friday (Dec 5-6)

TAPS Public Transit has announced that it will limit or cancel service on some routes through Friday due to winter storm warnings issued by the National Weather Service.

FOR THURSDAY DEC 5

Canceled routes include the Roo Route for Austin College, the Sherman-Denison Viking Route 900 and the Peterbilt Employee Shuttle to Denton.

The Red River Route between Texas and Oklahoma will operate until 7:00 p.m.

The Sherman-Denison Viking Route 800 will operate until 7:00 p.m.

All other routes are expected to run as scheduled on Thursday.

FOR FRIDAY DEC 6

Canceled routes include Sherman-Denison Viking Routes 600, 700 and 800; SOSU Storm Route, Red River Route between Texas and Oklahoma; TexExpress from Sherman to DART in Plano; Raytheon Employee Shuttle to McKinney.

All other routes are expected to run as scheduled.
