SHERMAN, TX -- A man has pleaded guilty to two charges after an incident in which police said he bit an officer in the leg.

After being pulled over back in June on Texoma Parkway, Michael Johnson, 40, bit an officer on the back of the knee while they were trying to arrest him and take him into a hospital, according to court documents.

Officers say they also found a baggie of methamphetamine in Johnson's possession. He pleaded guilty Monday to assaulting a public servant and drug possession. He was sentenced to 5 years probation.
