DENISON, TX -- One woman is in the hospital tonight after a chain reaction crash on Highway 75.

It happened around 5 p.m. in the southbound lanes between Dave's Ski and Tackle and the Texas Travel Information Center.

Police say several vehicles collided as they tried to avoid a pair of vehicles that were stopped in the road blocking both lanes of traffic.

One of the vehicles involved in the wreck was a flatbed trailer with feed on it and some of the feed was scattered on the road.

Police say the vehicles that caused the crash left the scene. They say the woman who went to the hospital recently had surgery and she was taken by ambulance to TMC for evaluation.
