GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A batch of mosquitoes in Grayson County has tested positive for West Nile virus.

The city manager of Van Alstyne says they have been notified that mosquitoes in traps on Baldwin Street and Highway 5 near County Line Road came back positive for West Nile.  

The samples were taken on October 8th.  Other positive samples were found in southeast Denison and in the city of Collinsville.
