TCOG's Area Agency on Aging announces the 8th Annual Caregiver Celebration Walk to be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Fairview Park in Sherman. Registration begins at 8:00 am. Plaques will be awarded to the Top Team Fundraiser and for the Best Team Representation.

Listen to live music and participate in a drawing for a number of donated prizes, including a Flat Screen Television donated by Stonebrook Assisted Living & Memory Care.

One hundred percent of donations remain in the Texoma community and used locally to assist all family caregivers with resources such as books, support groups, assistive devices and facility and in-home support that provide a much needed break for the caregiver. Family caregivers are those caring for loved ones with chronic illnesses, as well as Alzheimer's & Parkinson's diseases and grandparents raising grandchildren.

For more information, please go to www.tcog.com or contact Judy Conner at 903-813-3575.
