DAVIS, OK -- The Davis Wolves are the odds on favorites to take district 2A-4.
They're cruising this season racing out to a 7-0 record.
Everyone knew they'd be good this season, the question was how good.
Now with the district title on the line in Kingston, they know they will be taking on one of their hungriest opponents they'll see.
"They're everything that you need for a potential game for a district championship. They can win the district championship this week or put themselves in a position and we can do the same," head coach Jody Weber said.
"You can tell they want it this year. They want to try to go pretty far and they're not a bad football team and if we don't go in prepared, they can hurt us," senior linebacker and fullback Kaleb Casey added.
"They chase the ball hard. I mean, all their 11 guys, they always go toward the ball no matter what happens, if it's a busted play they're always going hard," senior running back and strong safety Keaton Williams concluded.
Kick-off from Kingston at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
