CARTER COUNTY, OKLAHOMA -- A two-month, joint investigation by the Carter County Sheriff's Office and the Lone Grove police department ended with two people behind bars.

Justin Wilson and Nycole Gust were arrested and taken to the Carter County jail on the morning of August 27, after a search warrant led to the discovery of what deputies say was a substantial amount of meth, some marijuana, and an assault rifle.

"Took a lot of the meth and dope off the streets," said Milton Anthony, Carter County under sheriff. "It's always good to get the dope and weapons off the streets. It's just that much more that you've gotten off the street."

Deputies say both Wilson and Gust were charged with multiple felony counts. Under sheriff Milton Anthony says that the two both posted bond.
