SHERMAN, TX -- A long ride across Grayson County for dozens of bikers started off this morning, before heading to several stops along the way.

The 4th Annual Burnin' Asphalt Fun Run was held on Saturday by MadRock 102.5 Radio. Organizers say 150 participants started at the Harley Davidson store at Sherman Town Center on their way to De Happy Cajun, Highport Marina, Cedar Mills Marina, and Lacey's Bar in Kingston.

"We were here last year and it was very hot but we managed to get through it and have fun at the same time, so we're pumped and ready to go," says Calera biker James Walker.

The poker run wrapped up with a fifth and final stop at Grandpappy Point Marina. Organizers say the event raises about $2,500 each year for the Children's Advocacy Center.
