We've all heard, don't drink and drive. Now, the message is spreading, don't text and drive.

Lisanne sat down to talk about this life or death issue with Chris Rehment of the Tate Rehment Law Firm on Good Morning Texoma.

Wednesday August 21st from 11am - 2pm the Tate Rehmet Law Firm along with Taco Casa in Sherman are asking people to take that pledge to stay safe behind the wheel.

Did you know, when you look down to text your eyes are off the road a minimum of 5 seconds. Those  5 seconds could be the difference between life and death on the road. You are also 23 times more likely to be in a crash if you do text and drive.

Stop by Taco Casa on the Texoma Parkway in Sherman, Wednesday August 21st from 11am - 2pm and make the pledge to not text and drive and you'll get a free taco and a coupon for a second free taco.
