Late-Night Rollover Crash In Howe Sends Three To Hospital

HOWE, TX -- It was a dangerous drive on a highway in Grayson County, when a tire suddenly blew out on Highway 75.

Police say the pickup was headed northbound near Exit 53 around 10 p.m. on Saturday, when according to information obtained from the driver with the help of a translator, the right rear tire had a blowout, causing the vehicle to lose control.

It flipped and rolled about 5 times. The occupant in the back seat was not wearing a seatbelt, and was ejected from the vehicle, police Cpl. Michael Hill said.

All three occupants were taken to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital-WNJ with non-life threatening injuries. Police say alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
