GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A man was injured when the pickup truck he was driving rolled over onto its roof on a darkened country road.

It happened around 9 p.m. just south of a substation on Cherry Mound Lane, located several miles east of Denison. A trooper on scene tells us the 51-year-old lives nearby.

Firefighters scouted a field next to a house to prepare for a helicopter landing, but the man was taken by ambulance to Texoma Medical Center.

We're told he had injuries including a bad bump on the head, but was responsive. Denison and Bells firefighters responded. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
