DENISON, TX -- A makeover for an iconic image in Denison is complete.

The MKT train on the east end of downtown Denison has been completely re-painted.

The train was donated to the Red River Railroad Museum in 1988.

Last month volunteers began an $1,800 makeover.

City officials say the paint job will help revitalize downtown Denison.
