CARTER COUNTY, OK-- It was a bitter sweet moment as officials with the Carter County Health Department celebrated the retirement of one of its one today.

Sara Scott has been with the health department for about 23-years--and Wednesday she said goodbye after all that time.

Scott started working for the department in November of 1989. She said she will miss everyone and the great times she's had while work for the Health Dept.

And officials with the Health Dept. said they'll miss Scott's charming personality

"She's our ambassador of good will, she is the greeter extraordinary. We're definitely going to miss her smiley happy face and voice on the phone," said Health Dept. Administrator, Mendy Spohn.

Scott said she will enjoy her time off taking up activities like going to the gym.
