GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A rollover accident just east of Denison sent a speeding car off the side of the road and down a hill.

It happened around 10 p.m. on F.M. 120. A trooper on scene tells us the car was headed into town along East Main Street when it went off the side of the road and down the hill on the south side of the road, coming to a stop by a tree.

A teen driver and his friend stopped to tell the trooper that they had seen the driver tailgating them and crossing the double yellow line.

"They weren't allowed to pass us basically and as they were passing us they almost hit another car and swerved out and then kept speeding up and driving crazy so that kind of confused us why it kept speeding up," says witness Luke Thomas. "Whenever we drove up here all we saw was smoke and then the guardrail was completely gone."

The driver was rushed to TMC for treatment and he appeared to be responsive.
