CHOCTAW COUNTY, OK -- A Boswell woman is in jail after police say she tried to kill her mother.  

Skyler mote is charged with "felony shooting with intent to kill."

Police say Mote admitted that she shot her mother Melissa Covington in the face with a handgun Saturday.
     
The say the two had been arguing earlier in the day.
     
Covington was flown to a Tulsa hospital in stable condition.  
     
Mote is being held in the Choctaw county jail on a $50,000 bond.
